Julie Mehretu has been chosen to create the company’s next Art Car. Her artwork, painted on a BMW M Hybrid V8, will be on the track at the 24 Hours of Le Mans race in June 2024.

The BMW M Hybrid V8 is BMW M GmbH’s new competition car and includes a hybrid drive system with around 640 horsepower, a 4.0-liter V8 engine that is supported by an electric motor.
