"Sunshine State,” a contemplative work on time and cinema by Steve McQueen, is now on view at Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen as part of the ​​International Film Festival Rotterdam.

The two-channel video installation features footage from the 1927 film, “The Jazz Singer,” which is widely considered to be the first talkie.

The 52nd edition of International Film Festival Rotterdam takes place from 25 January until 5 February 2023, with “Sunshine State” running until 12 February.
