Anri Sala's "Time No Longer" (2021) shows a turntable spinning on itself

Anri Sala Musical Performances at Bourse de Commerce

This month at Bourse de Commerce, there will be a series of musical performances to complement Anri Sala's films, currently on view at the museum.

On Wednesday, 16 November 2022, the screening of Anri Sala’s film "Long Sorrow" (2005) will be interspersed with performances by the saxophonist André Vida and the Berlin musical trio Zinc & Copper. On Friday, 18 November 2022, Vida will perform a series of improvisations alongside Sala's "Time No Longer" (2021) in the museum's rotunda.

"Time No Longer" (2021) shows a turntable spinning on itself, playing a heady piece of music. "Long Sorrow" (2005) is a film in which free jazz saxophonist Jemeel Moondoc (1946-2021) engages in a lengthy improvisation, suspended from the 18th floor of an uninhabited apartment in a Berlin building.

Performances are included with the purchase of the exhibition ticket.
