Nan Goldin will be honored with a Centenary Medal at this year's Royal Photographic Society Awards at the Royal Society in London.

Now in its 140th year, The Royal Photographic Society Awards honors key figures from the worlds of art, science, education, film, and publishing.

Winners are chosen by the RPS awards selection committee, which is made up of senior members of the Society as well as respected external advisors – all working in different spheres of photography.
