TRUE PICTURES? presents works by over thirty Canadian and American artists across three generations. The participating artists are not only connected by their origins, but also through the medium of photography.

All three generations have experienced their own social and political challenges: the 1968 movement; the Vietnam War; the AIDS crisis; systematic racism; sexism; and the expression of identity, sexuality, and gender.
