The exhibition Sterne und Granit, designed by Sabine Moritz for the Kunsthalle Rostock, is her first solo exhibition in a museum in East Germany, the country of her origin.  Sabine Moritz experienced the ambivalence of the real GDR while growing up; the country's history also shaped elements of her artistic oeuvre.

The exhibition Sterne und Granit, whose name is composed of two titles of her works, shows examples from different groups of art that she has created since 1991.
