Niele Toroni Musée d’Art Moderne de la ville de Paris, France

The Museum of Modern Art of the City of Paris presents a selection of works by Niele Toroni (born in Switzerland in 1937), in particular five paintings dated from 1979 to 1998, given by the artist in 2013.

Beyond these recent acquisitions, the hanging unveils other paintings entitled Impressions brush # 50 at regular intervals of 30 cm belonging to the collection of the museum: a "historic" canvas made in public at the museum during the Salon de Young Painting in 1967, the first manifestation of the BMPT group; the large ensemble of ten large paintings from 1983 from the Michael Werner donation in 2012; as well as the mural interventions realized in situ, Cabinet of painting, 1989 and Volare, 2001, above the door of entrance of the museum.

In addition, a selection of recent unpublished works from the artist's studio will complete this presentation.
