“Sugimoto Bunraku Sonezaki Shinju: The Love Suicides at Sonezaki” will make its U.S. premiere at the Lincoln Center in New York on October 19. Hiroshi Sugimoto presents a bold, contemporary interpretation of the classic drama using Bunraku puppet theater with music by Seiji Tsurusawa and video by Tabaimo and Sugimoto.
