For What It’s Worth - Value Systems in Art since 1960 The Warehouse

Curated by Thomas Feulmer and Lisa Le Feuvre, the exhibition, For What It’s Worth: Value Systems in Art since 1960, inaugurates the 2024 season at The Warehouse, Dallas.

Grounded in global, conceptual art tendencies of the 1960/70s, For What It’s Worth looks at artists who generate, question, and infect value systems through their work. These systems might address values connected to exchange, to social structures, or to philosophical intangibles, and all the stops in between. Many of the selected works share an exploration of the codification of values through language and patterns of behavior. Central to the exhibition will be works from The Rachofsky Collection by Giulio Paolini, among others. A catalogue published jointly by The Warehouse and Monacelli Press will accompany the exhibition.
