Sunrise at the Odawara Art Foundation

Odawara Art Foundation is pleased to announce its participation in the World Weather Network, using Enoura Observatory as a base. The observatory was conceived and designed by Hiroshi Sugimoto.

Formed in response to the climate crisis, the World Weather Network is a constellation of weather stations set up by 28 arts agencies around the world and an invitation to look, listen, learn, and act.

To celebrate the launch of the project, on the morning of the summer solstice on June 21, Odawara Art Foundation will broadcast live to the world the sunrise as it passes through the Summer Solstice Light-Worship 100-Meter Gallery at the observatory (pictured here).
