Tony Cragg studied at the Gloucestershire College of Art, Cheltenham, the Wimbledon School of Art, London; and at the Royal College of Art, London. He participated in Documenta VII (1982) and VIII (1987). He won the Turner prize, Tate Gallery, London (1988), and was elected a Royal Academician (1994).
